Marvelyn Brown, an HIV activist, was a featured guest on Oprah Winfrey’s show. The episode, The New Faces of HIV/AIDS, featured Magic Johnson and many other AIDS activists.

“Scenarios USA gives young people a place to speak out and be heard on issues that impact their lives…”
Scenarios USA asks teens to write stories about issues that shape their lives. In the past five years, 7,500 teenagers have responded to the Scenarios’ “What’s the REAL DEAL?” writing contest, with raw, honest and revealing insights. They have written about peer pressure, body image, pregnancy scares, HIV/AIDS, self-esteem, friendship and commitment. Twelve of these stories have been made into high-quality short films in partnership with the youth writers and some of Hollywood’s finest filmmakers. Read more…
